Like most jobs you can get tired, especially if you have demanding timescales to meet and are working long hours, or are doing a lot of travelling with your work.

But the satisfaction that you get at the successful end of a project means that you forget those tiring days, and you realise it was all worth it.

It can be very tiring especially as an Apprentice when you’re trying to fit in work, study and time to stay in touch with your friends.

However as Steve says the job is very rewarding and we get to take holidays just like everyone else, so even Engineers get down time. 🙂

I think doing any job would make you feel a bit tired after 8hrs in this sense I don’t think engineer job is any different 🙂 But if you get really tired you can always take holiday and charge your batteries! 🙂

Personally, it can get very tiring. I wake up at 5.30 and get to work anywhere between 7.30 and 8.15 – depending on the traffic. I work until 3 at the moment, but this will soon increase to 5/6. It then takes approx. 1hr30 to get home. So… I’d be lying if I said I didn’t get tired. I also try to make the most of my evenings and weekends… so I live off coffee, not good! They are long days but I wouldn’t describe them as a negative, I’m getting the most out of my time 😀
