      Hi king iqbal123,

I’m in the 4th and final year of my bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering but it depends what you want to do.

If you study full time you can get:
      A Bachelor’s degree in 3 years,
      A Master’s degree in 4 years,
      A Doctorate in 6/7 years,

but everybody studies at a different rate or with different options so it’s really open. My Bachelor’s has taken a year longer because I’m studying part time whilst I work. It’s very hard but the benefit it all my university fees are paid by Rolls-Royce.

      Huw 🙂

I spent four years at university, the academic part took three years which is normal for a degree, but in each year I did a term in industry (at Jaguar Cars) as part of my apprenticeship so that extended the course from three years to four.

I chose to do the apprenticeship instead of going to university like most of the others in my year at school. I’m currently studying at college at the moment but hopefully the company I work for will take me to degree level in the future 🙂

      hey king iqbal123!
I am still at Uni. I’ve started last year and will finish my course next year.
My degree is part of an Undergraduate Apprenticeship which means that my employer pays for my course and pays monthly salary too 🙂
