• Question: What is the most intricate object you have ever created entirely from a 3d printer and how long did it take to be created?

      A full size head and shoulders of a man who was 3d scanned. I made it in 18 separate sections that I then fitted together. It weighed over 3 kgs because it was made from a material that is 80% bronze. It took over 104 hours of total print time, cost over £130 in material and took many more hours to put together.

      It was worth it though because no-one had ever attempted anything like that before using 3d scanning and 3d printing.
